Are PD pre-order and the exported Shopify order numbers the same?Updated 2 days ago

Once an order is exported to Shopify you can choose if it keeps this #PD order number or creates a new Shopify order number

Head over to the Settings tab on the left-hand side of your dashboard and click Operations.  

Under Order Creation you can enable Purple Dot Pre-order reference as the Shopify Order ID if you'd like for the Purple Dot pre-order reference to show as the order ID in Shopify. 

If a customer orders in-stock and pre-order items together and ship these separately - the in-stock item has a different Shopify order number as it is exported and processed like a normal order.
