A customer has requested a different variant/SKU of the product after we exported the order. Is this possible?Updated 2 days ago

Shopify will not allow you to edit some aspects of the order after importing an external order (such as from Purple Dot). 


If a customer would like to switch out the SKU before the export you are able to do that in the PD dashboard (learn how to edit the variant in Purple Dot here). 

After exporting the pre-order to Shopify you'll receive an error message if you try to change the product to one of a different SKU. 


Currently, the best workaround right now would be to cancel the order and have the customer place another order.
