Our Attentive integration works for SMS.
Shoppers must give explicit consent, which we collect during the address step of checkout. It looks like this (the brand name will display, e.g. “[Your brand name]” instead of “Lulu Lemon Store”):
We don’t send any text messages on behalf of the brand. What we do is provide shoppers with the option to sign up. If a shopper checks the box at checkout, we automatically pass their consent to the brand’s configured Source ID in Attentive.
From there, it’s up to the brand how they choose to use that information!
