If I click the "add future discount" box when adjusting a waitlist's expected ship date, how does this work?Updated 2 days ago

Brands often provide a discount code as a thank-you if there is a shipping delay. You can do so when you edit the estimated ship dates for a waitlist if you toggle the "add future discount" box. 

Note: This feature updates the text to our estimated ship date email to include the discount code, so you’ll need to create the discount code beforehand in Shopify.
