If I have to cancel / close a waitlist does it cancel the line items of that product or the entire pre-order of the shopper?Updated a day ago
In rare cases you don't receive a shipment of a waitlist from your supplier, you may have to cancel the open orders.
You can cancel any non-exported order if you go to with that waitlist and click "Close waitlist".

This will cancel the line items of that product. This is important distinction because if a shopper has a pre-order that contains other items, those items will not be canceled, just the line items of the closed waitlist.
Purple Dot sends a standard cancelation email. If you want to send a customized email you can download the shoppers info using our pre-order report, and can send a mass email via Klaviyo or with a similiar CRM.
