We closely monitor “Reached checkout” conversion metric. Are orders placed through your checkout included in that Shopify metric? If not, is there a way to include them to make our conversion data more accurate?Updated a day ago

Great question! The accuracy of Shopify’s built-in conversion tracking is affected when a cart includes a pre-order, since those orders are completed outside of Shopify’s native checkout. Because of this, we recommend using Google Analytics (GA) or another external tool to get a more complete view of your conversion funnel.

As a note, pre-orders are still reflected in your total order and sales data in Shopify, once exported.
