What happens if I issue a partial refund and the shopper used a gift card?Updated 2 days ago

We refund the debit/credit card first, any remaining refund goes onto the gift card then then that amount will be issued back to the gift. 

Let's say you purchase Product X for $100 ($80 on your debit card and $20 with a gift card). 

If you issue a partial refund for $30, all $30 would be refunded to the debit card. If alternatively you were to issue a $90 refund, $80 would be refunded to the debit card and $10 refunded to the gift card.
