If your pre-order waitlist sells out, and you’d like to continue to take pre-orders, you can easily add additional release dates to your waitlist. That way, when your first waitlist sells out, Purple Dot will automatically roll over to use these second release dates, and you can keep selling.

For example, let’s say you have an open waitlist of 20 Blue Caps with estimated shipping dates of 16-17 May. You expect them to sell out soon, and you have another 50 Blue Caps on their way with estimated shipping dates of 25-28 May.

In Purple Dot, you can use the + Add Release tab to add a second shipment to this waitlist. Once the first 20 Blue Caps sell out, Purple Dot will automatically roll over so your shoppers can continue to pre-order onto your next 50 Blue Caps coming later.

You can set up this new release the same way you create a waitlist!
