What does the Statement section of the Finances page show me?Updated 2 days ago

The statement is designed to provide a full breakdown of all movements against your Purple Dot balance over a defined time period.

Here's what each line means: 

• Opening balance - total value of all funds held by Purple Dot on your behalf at the start of the defined time
• Payments received - total value of payments taken from shoppers over the defined time period.
• Cancellations - the value of all orders/items cancelled, where we have not yet transferred you the funds
• Refunds - the value of all orders/items cancelled or returned, where funds have already been transferred to you
• Fees - charges deducted by Purple Dot for use of the platform
• Payouts - the value of all funds sent to your bank account
• Adjustments - balance amendments automatically made by Purple Dot, usually to account for foreign exchange movements
• Closing balance - total of remaining funds held by Purple Dot (including Upcoming payouts) at the end of the defined time period.
