While the two may be similar, they won’t always match, particularly if you are using our split payments, where shoppers only pay a portion of the order value at the time of the order.

How does Purple Dot handle fraudulent transactions?
Our fraud rate is exceptionally low, largely due to the nature of preorders. In the rare case of a fraudulent transaction, our operations team will take care of the chargeback. The brand will not incur any charges.
If I have an existing Stripe account that I connect for Purple Dot, where do I see the transactions?
When you connect an existing Stripe account to Purple Dot, a new Stripe Express Connect account is created. This account is separate from your existing Stripe setup, even if you use the same email address. To view activity for this account, log in at
